tatyana aliTatyana Marisol Ali (born on January 24, 1979) is an American performer and actress who is recognized for her performance as Ashley Banks on the NBC sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel Air from 1990 to 1996. Tyana Jones, her TV One character, was her first TV show. She also played the role of Roxanne in the CBS soap show The Young and the Restless. In 1985, a 6-year-old Ali started her acting career by appearing regularly on the PBS children's program Sesame Street. Her appearances included a show with the jazz legend Herbie Hancock. Hancock demonstrated the Fairlight CMI synthesizer by using Ali's voice. Star Search also featured her in two episodes.
