Allison Janney

AllisonAllison Brooks Janney, born on 19 November 1959 in America is an American actress. With a professional career that spans 30 years, she's famous for her roles in multiple genres of screen and stage. Janney has received many awards including the Academy Award and a British Academy Film Award. She also won seven Primetime Emmy Awards. Janney received nominations for the two Tony Awards. Janney was born in Boston as a child, but was raised within Dayton (Ohio). Her career began when she earned a scholarship to studying at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art after she graduated from Kenyon College. Janney received credit for many small and infrequent television and film appearances over the years. Her most famous part in the role of C. J. Cregg in the NBC show The West Wing (1999-2006) brought her 4 Primetime Emmy Awards. In recognition of her performance as Margaret Scully, a Showtime actress on"Masters of Sex," a period television drama Masters of Sex, Janney received this year's Primetime Emmy Award as Outstanding guest actor in a drama Series.
