Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was born South London, England into an ethnically diverse family. She is English, and her father was Nigerian. She was born and raised on a council estate in the south of London. In the ages of 14she enrolled in The Brit School. In London she attended The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where her acting degree was obtained. She performed in various stage productions during her school days, including the stage productions King Henry V and Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe's acting career started with Storm Damage. Since then she's made guest appearances for Teachers, Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Her debut film as a performer is the Woody Allen 2007 film Cassandra's Dream. She starred with Colin Farrell & Ewan MacGregor. Following this acclaim, she appeared as Elisha in her role on the BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN and was featured on six of the episodes Trexx and Flipside. In 2008, Madekwe landed Bambi as the main character in the ITV2 drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe made an appearance in the comedy film How to Lose Friends & Alienate People. The credits she has in her theatre work are Little Sweet Thing by Roy Williams as well as Flight Path by David Watson.
Madekwe debuted in the US in the US with The Beautiful Life. The drama program was telecast at The CW for only two episodes, before it was removed from the air. In February of 2011, she was cast in the role of Ashley Davenport in the ABC drama series Revenge. Madekwe was a regular in the ABC drama series Revenge during two seasons. The show was announced in May 2013 that she'd be leaving the series following one guest appearance on the initial series of the 3rd. The actress played Tituba in the TV series Salem from 2014 to 2016. Madekwe, along with her boyfriend for many years, Iddo Goldenberg, were wedding in June of 2012. They have worked together in the show Secret Diary of a Call Girl and also was a character in the television series Salem.

Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario with a huge family. Her parents Roy and Patty and the four brothers of her, Brett, Todd, and Bram, were all present. Ashley's four brothers, each of them extremely athletic, played hockey during the winter and baseball during the summer, so that she grew up playing in arenas and baseball parks. Ashley did not walk; instead, she would dance. In the age of two and half, she found Baby Ballet. Ashley was enthralled by dance following this. Ashley participated in the top divisions for jazz, tap hip-hop, ballet Acrobatics, Lyrical Musical Theatre as well as pointe until the time she completed high school. Ashley won the best soloist award at every major dance contest, which included International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance among some.
