Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts born to Betty Lou Bredemus (mother) and Walter Grady Roberts on October 28th, 1967. Her grandfather, her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer, was one of the first Roberts to move to Atlanta. Her father had the first interest to theatre. When he was a student at Emory University he appeared in various productions both at and off campus. In 1953, when he joined the Air Force in Biloxi, he was seen with Betty Lou Bredemus in Biloxi. In 1955, the couple married and, in 1956, their son Eric Anthony was born. Walter along with his wife were discharged from the Air Force in 1957 after which they began enrolment with Walter as a student at Tulane University. Walter worked for Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. In 1960, the family moved into Decatur Georgia. In 1964, Walter along with Betty Lou began production on a local Saturday morning children's TV show known as Bum Bum and His Buddies that they funded their own. The following year, they started The Actors and Writers Workshop which was in operation for a period of six years. They were blessed with two additional kids Lelisa (called Lisa) Billingsley in the year 1965 as well as Julia (called Julie) in 1967.
