Harry Edward Styles (also known as Harry Styles in the music world) is an British music producer and a vocalist. Harry Styles was one of the founding members of One Direction. Parents are Des Styles and Anne Cox. The couple were born on the 1st February 1994 in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, where he made his own music group with three classmates, which he named White Eskimo. They were the winners of the Battle of Bands in 2009 due to their impressive results. There was always an interest for music. He wanted to become the next lawyer or physical therapy. He worked for a time as a part-time baker in his city for the purpose of assisting economically at home. Harry Styles auditioned for The X Factor in 2010 and did Is not She Lovely, an iconic Stevie Wonder song. He was chosen. The group needed to be split. Nicole Scherzinger proposed to Harry Styles to be member of the new group, One Direction. The other members were Liam Payne Zayn Mallik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell was the sponsor of this group. The group was formed in the year the year 2010. The group performed the Kelly Clarkson song My Life Would Be Sucky without You as well as Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart in the contest, which helped them to become one of the frontrunners. The group was in third place, just behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles, his group as well as Cowell did not win the competition. However, Cowell provided Harry Styles a 2 million dollar contract with Syco.
