Kelly Clarkson, an American singer-songwriter and actress who won the American Idol competition in its initial season. She was America's Sweetheart. The show's victory that brought Kelly Clarkson into the limelight, it also landed her an arrangement in partnership with RCA Records 19 Recordings & "S Records" for a series of albums. In the years since, she's recorded numerous studio albums, including three which reached the top of the US Billboard 200' chart, while her other albums barely fell short of the top spot.
