Simone Biles

Simone Biles was an American gymnast born on the 14th of March 1997 in the city of Columbus, Ohio. She is considered to be one of the most outstanding gymnasts. In the 2016 Olympics held in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals in a single Games and she was the first gymnast to earn three consecutive world all-around titles (2013-15). Biles was born in Spring Texas. Her grandparents Ronald Biles (and her sister Adria) took them in as adoptees. They grew in the Houston metropolitan area. Simone's fascination with gymnastics started when she was just six years old, during a trip with her group of daycare children to Bannon Gymnastix. Simone remained under Aimee Borman's guidance until the year 2011. Biles took home a gold medal for floor exercises and also a bronze in vault during the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010, before advancing to the top level of gymnastics in the year 2011. The following year Biles had a dominating performance in the sport. The thing that set Biles apart was her consistency her exuberant personality as well as the level of challenge she integrated into her routines throughout the four events she competed in: vault uneven bars, balance beam, and floor workout.
